Graphic Art by Corey Hurley

23rd October 2018

It must come as no surprise being a graphic designer at all that I love graphic art. The simplicity, all the fluff taken away and what remains is essential, immediate and often calming I find. Corey Hurley paints beautiful moments, focussing on one subject at a time or simple shapes on a page. Bold colours are crisp on the canvas and there is a fun and fresh feel to her composition which brings joy the viewer.

Graphic art by Jorey Hurley of a yellow crane, ideal for a nursery

I noticed her work today at Miss Moss, in a blog post about nursery artwork. I think this is a great idea, a wonderful way to bring the outside world in, one element at a time. You can see more of Corey Hurley’s work on Etsy.
