Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza

2020 saw Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza branch out in a new direction. Setting up shop at Wadebridge’s street food hub Saltbox, their delicious pizza’s needed a website that fitted the evolving brand.

As well as created a new logo so carried the branding onto their website. A real retro feel using illustration and striking red, orange and black together with a cardboard texture come together to make the site.

Home and menu page

Mobile friendly, the website is easily edited and features a menu our client can update and an Instagram gallery. The website has a lovely flow to it, appearing before your eyes! Check it out.

Back in 2016 we created this website for Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza to aid their expanding business.   Working with some great photographs we used a palette of fresh red, verdant green and a slate blue. The Home page works as a showcase with an Instagram feed and also provides quick links to the key pages; events, pop-ups and festivals. We pulled out key quotes and broke up the text to add rhythm and interest.

Their website needed to work on many levels; to show people wanting to get a fresh pizza where the pop-ups are, to illustrate their brand and ethos and to work as a promotional tool for people wishing to book the expanded Woody’s team for festivals. For the menu page we made use of the lovely granite texture and combined two contrasting fonts with the tomatoes we illustrated for the loyalty card.

For the main services; Pop-Ups, Events and Festivals, we used a different format. We reduced the size of the main image and included an inset picture. Carrying on that festival lettering we added titles to each page. Although the format for these pages is different, we made sure they fit with the brand and all the pages flow easily. Woody’s also has a contact form on their website with a news box that our client can update as and when.
