Pickle Poster Calendar 2010

Each year at Pickle we produce a calendar as a thank you to our clients and also as a way to promote our services, but often we find that is as an opportunity for us to design something purely in our style.

Previously we have created a bookmark calendar and a series of badges, and we wanted to continue to experiment with new formats, so this year we have designed an A2 poster.

When the creative team were originally brainstorming, we liked the idea of seeing all the months of the year at once, and wanted to bring in the concept of a years cycle.

Marie and I worked on her original illustration which showed the seasons through the tree's foliage in a silhouette. Together we used subtle colours and simple typography to create a striking but useable poster which hopefully will grace many a wall.
