Print Management

Our print services go beyond merely sending off your artwork and hoping for the best, we take it upon ourselves to ensure that the finished result is to your satisfaction. This means we take the burden from your shoulders and liaise with the printers to resolve any issues that may arise.

Print Ready

Some of our clients prefer to handle the printing themselves, and we are pleased to pass on artwork to signage manufacturers, printers or advertising agencies. For this service, we get your designs print ready to the industry standard specifications and either email or provide the files on disk. Any changes or altering of format after this point is charged at our normal hourly rate.

We cannot be held responsible for print errors if we are not handling print management. Print ready jobs are the responsibility of our clients once approved.


One proof is supplied as standard for every job, but most print jobs include two, while web and branding have three. Further proofs are charged at £50.00 + VAT each.

Colours on print can only be guaranteed with colour press proof.

There may be some alteration in layout of website from proofs to accommodation best coding practices.

To keep costs affordable existing applications are sometimes integrated into websites, if you require specific functionality bespoke code can be quoted on.

Design Contracts

Work will commence on a project once a signed contract and deposit or standing order is in place. In projects including logo design, this is carried out before any other work is undertaken. All artwork and coding remains the property of Pickle Design for two years from approval.

Contracts are based on information supplied by you at the time of signing and are be subject to alteration if there is any subsequent change.

Transferring a website away from Pickle Design in the first year after approval costs £200.00 + VAT, in the second year it costs £100.00 + VAT. After the two years there is an admin fee of £60.00 + VAT.

Website quotes do not include uploading items (e.g. products or photographs) into databases. When rebuilding a website page links may move to a new address, if you are concerned about broken links please discuss it with us.

We try to cover all eventualities when planning a project, but please ensure you raise any concerns you may have so that they can be included in the contract as we cannot be held responsible for issues that were not discussed prior to beginning a job.


Standard hosting is £60.00 + VAT per year. E-Commerce hosting is £120.00 + VAT per year. Our hosting includes core updates to WordPress sites.

There will be an administrative charge to transfer websites away from Pickle Design. SEO and mailbox contracts are invoiced on one month before twelve month term is completed, hosting after twelve months, if Pickle Design are not contacted at this point, contract will roll over to following year.

We do not allow ftp access to our server.

Any reference to website hosting is based on a standard shared server, upgraded options are available to increase speed and stability.


Late payments will be subject to a surcharge to cover administrative costs. Please talk to us about payment terms. Deposits are not refundable. Design work is payable net 30 days, any print or signage net 14 days.

Work already carried out remains billable if contract is cancelled.

Any goods supplied remain the property of Pickle Design until payment has been received in full.
